GLORIAN

The band was formed by Ahmet Ucankus and Hakan Kul in 1995, Istanbul. Serhat Hasanoglu joined to the group in 1996 and the band started to play with the members Ahmet and Serhat on the guitars, Hakan on vocals, Evran Ozturk on keyboards, Fatih Bayir on bass guitars and Sonat Elmaci on drums. In 1998, Fatih left the band and Hakan started to play bass guitars with the group. Besides Ahmet Gultekin started to play with the group as the new drummer. At the end of the year 2001, the name of the group Prophecy was changed to Glorian and the first debut album was released. 

Evran left the group in 2002, so did Serhat in 2003. Cem Can started to play in 2003 on guitars. With this new staff, Glorian performed in many concerts and started to prepare for the second debut album. 

In July 2004, recording efforts for the second debut album started. After couple of months, because of the military duties of Hakan and Ahmet Ucankus, the band postponed its efforts for a while. In May 2005, the band started to play again, recording of the second debut album “Ancient Stories” has been finished and released at the end of the year. 

The last member Ahmet Sogutluoglu joined to band in 2007 and afterwards Glorian started to work on its first studio album and released the new single “Ultimatum”.
